Made from high quality cast iron, Flexer V-Grooved Pulley is machined to fine limits as per IS 3142 and statically balanced (wherever necessary). These V-Grooved Pulleys are available in a wide range of standard sizes to cater for almost all the drive applications. These rubber pulleys can also be manufactured as per customer's specifications.

The Flexer Vari-Speed pulley has been designed for use where frequent speed changes are required. This pulley consists of two facing cone shaped discs - each sliding laterally on a sleeve, forming a V-Grooved pulley of infinitely variable pitch diameter.

The V-Belt is held in perfect alignment as the two consisting cones of the pulley move equally on either side. An adjustable motor base carries the motor and the Vari-Speed Pulley and by the rotation of the hand wheel this can be moved towards or away from the driven shaft automatically, increasing or decreasing the effective diameter of the Vari-Speed Pulley and causing a change in the driven speed. Because of its special design, the change of speed can be effected easily while the machine is in motion.

No attempt should however be made to change the speed unless the unit is running.
